Senior Oracle Developer

Role Description- Develop the database components of new enhancements for products, engaging in requirement review, design, and development processes.- Maintain existing database structure and code for products , including handling minor changes and defect repairs.- Provide third-tier support for the database aspects, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution.- Contribute to product architecture design by supporting the architecture team and providing valuable feedback. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development and maintenance of mission-critical applications.Key Skills: Database EngineeringExtensive experience in Oracle database design, development, and optimization.Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming for building efficient and scalable database solutions.In-depth understanding of Oracle RAC for creating high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant database clusters.Java DevelopmentStrong proficiency in Java (adding C/C++ is a big plus) programming with a focus on developing applications that seamlessly integrate with Oracle databases.Expertise in building and optimizing Java-based solutions for data manipulation and retrieval.High Availability and Disaster Recovery:Proven experience in implementing and managing Oracle Data Guard for ensuring data protection and disaster recovery.Skilled in designing and maintaining highly available database clusters using Oracle RAC.Linux Background:Solid foundation in Linux systems administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.Experience in scripting and automation for efficient database and system management.
