Seeking a proficient Java Developer specializing in Version Upgrades and Code Refactoring. This expert will spearhead the modernization of our modular projects, showcasing deep Java knowledge and a successful track record in version transitions.What you'll do:Upgrade existing Java 8 modules to the latest version, ensuring optimal performance.Collaborate on issue resolution arising from the version upgrade with the development team.Implement modular programming best practices and design patterns for enhanced maintainability.Conduct comprehensive testing to validate functionality and performance of upgraded modules.Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to overall system improvements.Provide documentation and training to team members on the upgraded codebase.What you need to succeed:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Proven Java Developer experience with a focus on version upgrades.In-depth knowledge of Java and its latest features.Strong understanding of modular programming and design patterns.Experience upgrading projects from Java 8 to later versions.Proficiency in testing and debugging for robust code.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Ability to analyze and efficiently solve complex problems.Nice to have:Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.Knowledge of other JVM languages.Experience with microservices architecture.
