Position Overview

Autodesk’s BuildingConnected provides a platform to manage the bidding process, identify and collaborate with best bidders and maintain a network at scale. Bid Board gives subcontractors in the commercial construction industry (e.g., painters, plumbers, electricians, etc.) a quick and efficient way to manage invitations to bid from general contractors. We help our customers manage millions of bidding opportunities every month, through an easy-to-use, modern web application.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who likes working in Node.js and React, enjoys helping other team members grow, and has a focus on customer experience. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly and diverse team and make a big impact on a product that is an important part of the construction workflow! This position is remote in the Canada.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop new featuresDocument architectural decisions and code design specificationsFocus on quality, including writing unit/integration tests and refactoringBreak apart complex initiatives into manageable chunksWork within a small, agile team, following a sprint methodologyCollaborate with designers and product managers to improve the product, with a focus on the end user’s experienceEmpathetically help other developers growParticipate in the interview processProvide on-call support and serve as a triage point for issues with the application

Minimum Qualifications

Develop high-quality codeBreak down technical problems into smaller chunksExperience with agile processes within a team3+ years of experience working as a software engineerExperience with any of the following technologies we use daily: React / Redux, Node, MongoDB

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
