ABOUT US.BiiU is a Learner Engagement Platform designed for students first, creating a more engaged, involved and immersive lifelong learning experience for everyone. BiiU's goal is to change how the world learns by engaging today's students, together.

RESPONSIBILITIES.As a back-end engineer you will participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that will help us empower tomorrow’s world at school, work and beyond.

TECH REQUIREMENTS.• 4+ years of backend development experience with at least one programming language.• 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews,source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.• Expert knowledge of AWS with services such as Aurora, RDS, S3, Fargate,Lambda.• Knowledge with AWS Databases like Dynamo DB.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.• Strong communication skills (English and Spanish).
