Backend Developer (NestJS, PostgreSQL, AWS)

We’re seeking a Backend Engineer for Picflow, a cloud collaboration platform for creative professionals. You’ll play a key role in building a scalable and reliable system. Together with a team of designers and developers, we’ll seek elegant solutions and initiate new technologies to improve the product.

Tasks

Be product-minded and committed to building the best user experience for the customers.High expertise in backend engineering (Javascript, Node.JS, NestJS Typescript, SQL, Postgres)AWS is your home, and you can assess the advantages and disadvantages of its products (i.e., ECS, RDS, MSK Kafka, Lambda, S3.).Understand how to optimize database performance and implement solutions that scale.A collaborative person who is used to working in a team and discussing architectural designs.Understand the product and its needs and implement plans to improve, future-proof, and scale the application.You appreciate working self-organized and async within a productive team.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.Understand the trade-offs in employing different solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism.
