Purpose
We're looking for a Content Producer for our Content Marketing team to support SEO-driven initiatives, including our Outreach Program and landing pages. You'll work alongside the Senior Content Marketing Manager, Blog Editor, and Outreach team to pitch ideas to forthcoming publications, conduct keyword research and create post outlines. You'll be responsible for writing post copy, editing, and SEO optimizing incoming guest posts submitted to the Envato Blog. As a passionate content writer with an excellent eye for detail, you can spin a catchy headline and unique angle out of any topic. You'll also be able to create a landing page from scratch, including writing copy, curating text, video, and images, and building pages in our CMS.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Researching & developing content pitches for prospective publications. - Doing detailed keyword research to inform content structure. - Writing guest posts and submitting them for review. - Editing and optimizing posts submitted to the Envato blog. - Uploading content to the blog and landing page CMS. - Planning landing page structure & content based on an SEO keyword brief. - Determining content gaps and how we can address them. - Writing copy for landing pages, including introductions, FAQs, and item descriptions. - Briefing our Marketing Design team to execute visual design/assets. - QA’ing each landing page before it’s published. - Identifying opportunities to optimize landing pages & processes.
Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of content marketing experience. Demonstrated experience in SEO copywriting for blogs and landing pages. Strong written and communication skills. Experience in working with stakeholders. Comfortable working independently. Able to communicate and work effectively with design teams. Hands-on experience with a page builder such as Elementor. Versatile, resourceful, and highly organized.
