The primary responsibilities of the Salesforce Developer include feature development based on the best practices, configuration of the Sales / Service Cloud based on customer specifications, writing test classes, build custom reports and Dashboards and deployment of the code to the respectiveenvironments.
The responsibilities include:Customize, develop and support solutions on salesforce.com platformDevelop, test, document and deploy high quality solutions for our clientsWorking closely with clients and the development team to determine the project requirementsDocument unit test scripts and record test results post completion of developmentReview self and peer's code/configuration as part of review processStrong understanding of the SDLC(Agile and Waterfall approaches and tools)Advanced Salesforce customization/coding (Apex & Visualforce development)Salesforce data loading & using data loader/Data stage/related toolsLightning component experience preferredKnowledge in Java/.Net Programming & OOPs concepts is an added advantageBasic source control knowledge Git/SVNProficient in building integrated solution involving web services using both REST and SOAPStrong in RDBMS concepts, SQL and SOQL query languages and ER conceptsExperience of developing using Eclipse/Mavens Mate IDEHands on experience in migrating code/configuration to production is an added advantage
