Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a WordPress Developer. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, creating responsive web design, and web design and development.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high-performance, responsiveness, and security.2. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into effective website solutions.3. Proficient in MySQL and Linux basics for database management and server-side tasks.4. Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.5. Implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.6. Conduct website performance optimization and ensure seamless user experiences.7. Stay updated with industry trends and WordPress advancements to enhance development processes.8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of past projects.2. Proficiency in MySQL database management and basic Linux server-side administration.3. Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.4. Ability to customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.5. Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.6. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.7. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, well-documented code.8. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.9. Ability to troubleshoot and provide timely technical support to clients.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Knowledge of SEO best practices.2. Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.3. Familiarity with web security best practices.4. Understanding of performance optimization techniques for WordPress websites.
