IT Software Developer III

Perituza is a global software development and consulting company headquartered in Houston, Texas (USA), with development centers in New Delhi, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka.

We are looking for an experienced full-stack software developer specializing in web-based application development. The developer will work directly with our US-based clients to build innovative software solutions.

This is a full-time, remote position which will require occasional travel to our office in Colombo.

Responsibilities:Design and develop complex software projectsBuild solutions using an agile workflowReview code of other team members and provide technical feedbackMentor others in the technology organizationAttend project meetings and daily standups with US-based customers; raise issues and report progressIncorporate quality software practices into all phases of the project life lifecycleStay up-to-date on the latest industry and technology trends, and look for ways to implement new ideas to continually improve the assigned projects

Requirements:5+ years of experience in web-based application development3+ years of experience in .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC2+ years of experience with React or Angular2+ years of experience with Responsive Web UI development3+ years of experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQLExperience working with cloud services Experience with agile developmentAbility to attend project meetings after-hours with US-based clients as requiredAbility to support production support out of normal office hours as requiredValid passport and ability to travel to our office in ColomboBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with native English-speaking customers
