Oracle Payroll Developer

Role: Oracle Payroll Developer Start Date: 2/19Location: Remote but candidates must work onsite in Charlotte, NC for the first full week of work and the travel must be covered by the consultant and will not be reimbursed by Charter)W2 positionDuration: 9 months+

Candidates must have experience in payroll processing in Oracle HCM Cloud (aka Oracle Fusion) and HCM extract, fast formulas, oracle pl/sql, oic, BI Publisher (BIP) or OTBI experience, Configuration and payroll process flows and taxes and cost and HDL or HSDL templates and reconciliation of converted interface files with legacy files for payroll related items.

Top Requirements: Techni-functional experience in payroll processing in Oracle HCM Cloud (also called Oracle Fusion)HCM Extract, Fast Formulas, PL-SQL and OICReporting tools like BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBIConfiguration, payroll process flow, taxes and costHDL loaders or HSDL templatesExperience with reconciliation of converted interface files with legacy files for Payroll related items.

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This client began an HCM implementation several months ago and utilizes an SI partner to help with this project. The new product is Oracle and the team is looking to bring Oracle knowledge in house. This role is payroll specific, so ideal candidates will have Oracle Fusion HCM payroll knowledge. Ability and willingness to educate are important as this role has been created in part to facilitate knowledge transfer to the team. This person will be hands on, doing the development work to help the project stay on budget. This person will assist the payroll team in testing Payroll OHCM processes. Identifying and analyzing bugs found during testing and documenting them. Pay close attention to details running the tests, documenting and report results. Report any defects and collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program.
