Xamarin Developer – Hybrid or Remote

We have an excellent opportunity for a Xamarin Developer to join an innovative software company who create software solutions that optimise business services across multiple clients and domains. The Xamarin Developer will be responsible the design and construction of Xamarin Forms Applications for Android and iOS which integrate with Desktop applications targeting the ERP marketplace.

There is an extensive technology stack including .Net products (both Framework and Core). The products also make use of database platforms like SQL Server, SQLite, Redis, Mongo and third-party component suites like DevExpress. This is all supported by an established ALM system built around Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and maintain mobile applications using Xamarin Forms / C# for both Android and iOS.Participate in design and wireframe review to provide a technical perspective on implementation.Work within an Agile process and across .Net, .Net Core, Desktop, Web and Mobile Applications. A blend of design, architecture, planned work, bug fixing, investigation and research.Profiling and performance analysis.

Knowledge and Experience

3+ years’ experience in Xamarin/Xamarin Forms, C#, .Net, and related technologies.Experience in Maui is an advantage.SQLite Knowledge.Experience with Visual Studio App Centre for builds and diagnostics.Knowledge around publishing apps through Google Play and App Store.Experience with Xamarin application profiling tools.Exposure to DevExpress UI controls for Xamarin Forms is an advantage.Should be comfortable dealing with and utilising REST APIs.Familiarity with Agile patterns and practices.
