The JavaScript Software Developer works closely within the Axonify Development Team to create new features and products as well as maintain existing User Interfaces. You will collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Product Management teams to help craft the best user experience possible. This role is instrumental in creating new features and products that our customers love.

The things you’ll do:Work collaboratively with the entire development team to implement, test and maintain current and new product featuresUse HTML5 technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES2017, TypeScript, etc.) in a cross-browser and cross-platform environment (mobile and desktop)Become knowledgeable with existing Axonify architecture and processesHelp architect solutions based on requirements, designs, and user stories from the Product Management teamHandle multiple tasks and prioritize them appropriatelyDesign test cases and implement unit testsWork with the Quality Assurance team to assist in the implementation and maintenance of interface tests Demonstrate technical knowledge through thoughtful code review feedback

The things you bring:2+ years of experience with HTML5 technologies in a cross-browser and cross-platform environment (mobile and desktop).Strong understanding of common JavaScript design patterns and OO designs within RESTful single page apps.Strong aptitude for quality work and task prioritization.Detail oriented, highly enthusiastic team player, with a positive attitude.Passion for JavaScript and it’s your language of choice.Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyEnglish skills. We understand that English is not your first language, therefore, we don't expect it to be completely fluent. However, you should be comfortable working and communicating in English with our Canadian teams.It's ok if your experience doesn't check every box! If you check off more than a few - great!
