Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Senior .Net Developer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for evaluating and executing on a cloud migration strategy for an on-prem ASP.Net web application and it's related web and windows services. Work closely with the development team and the engineering leadership team to develop a roadmap for the cloud migration. Define technical standards, design patterns, best practices and frameworks that are used by the development team. Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, from requirement gathering to design, development and implementation, to ensure business needs are being addressed. Use deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience and technical knowledge. .NET Core (v3+). C#, WebForms or MVC, ADO.net. SQL Server, Transact SQL. Cloud Basics: Proficient understanding of concepts like IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. AWS: Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). OpenShift: Experience with deploying, scaling, and managing applications on OpenShiftContainerization: Proficient with Docker and/or Kubernetes. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. CI/CD: In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline). Version Control: Mastery of Git and its workflows. Agile SDLC: Proficient understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. Jira: Advanced experience in using Jira for task tracking and sprint management. TSM Tools: Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management tools.
