Senior Vue.js Developer

The ideal candidate for this position will meet all of the requirements of the position and can work with a team in an agile environment. This is a full-time, salaried Front End Developer position supporting State Government. You must be able to pass a Public Trust background check as required by the client. You must also be a self-starter, fast-learner, and have excellent oral and written communications skills along with the following:

Develop custom web-based applicationsUse VueJS 2+, HTML 5, JavaScript, CSSBuild and update RESTful APIsInterface with Microservices and Apache SolrTroubleshoot issues and create code fixes for open-source productsAbility to deploy a VueJs application to environmentsAddress defects and collaboratively work with functional and technical teams to integrate application in on-site environments

Requirements

8+ years of custom web application development experience4+ years of VueJS experience5+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back-end architecture interactionsStrong experience developing/consuming RESTful web servicesSolid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban Agile development methodologiesExcellent issue resolution skills within open-source productsContinuous integration (CI) experience is a plusUnderstanding mobile-friendliness of websitesFamiliarity and experience with Section 508 standardsStrong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills

EDUCATION

Undergraduate Degree (in computer science, engineering, or related field) highly desired but can be substituted with 2 additional years of experience

The person for this role must be authorized to work in the United States; preferably a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per our client requirement.
