Front End Web Developer

Crucible is on the hunt for a seasoned Front End Web Developer with a passion for crafting intuitive user experiences and a deep understanding of modern web technologies. We require professionals who have a firm grasp on the dynamic landscape of front-end development and are well-versed in choosing the right tools for the job. Our team operates remotely, making proactive communication essential, along with the ability to work independently and manage tasks asynchronously.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Head of Product and the Development Team to engineer innovative features, fine-tune our user interfaces, and ensure our web applications are robust and user-friendly. Your responsibilities will include developing new functionalities, engaging in user interface design, conducting tests, updating developer documentation, and resolving any front-end bugs.

The core of your work will focus on creating seamless and engaging interfaces, making strategic decisions on the use of frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or others you find appropriate. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and additional tools like TypeScript or Webpack is expected. While expertise in Web3, blockchain technologies, or NFTs isn't mandatory, a keen interest and willingness to delve into these areas will be beneficial.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help build a brand new tech stack from scratch, picking your dream set of technologies, as well as having a real voice in shaping the future of the project.

You’ll be working in a game dev world but also with Web3, NFTs, and Content Creators across a number of different verticals, such as Gaming, Fashion, Music and Education, who are building for the Open Metaverse.

SkillsMust have:3+ years of experience in a professional environment making websitesAt least one example of a project that you have worked on in a senior positionDemonstrated expertise in at least one major web framework (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)Comfortable starting a new project from scratch and growing it into a sustainable code baseExperience with GitAble to work remotely and asynchronouslyExperience working alongside designers in FIGMA
