C Developer

Advent Resources is a software company with over 30 years in the industry offering sales, inventory and customer management platforms used by some of the largest car dealerships in the country.

A person in this role has a full understanding of their area of specialization and resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. They are able to successfully lead and collaborate in teams for planning and decision-making. They demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. They normally receive little instruction on day-to-day work but may require general instruction on new assignments.

Requirements:Strong programming fundamentalsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related DegreeWorking knowledge of CExperience with XML, SQL. Exposure to networking, scripting, LINUX OS, Web services and knowledge of accounting is a plus.Ability to work both with a team and independently as required Clear background check/drug screening

Responsibilities:

Design and develop new features and migrate existing finance and insurance software applications into web-based servicesUse bash scripting and Unix/ Linux commands for automating repetitive tasks.Design, implement and maintain tools, libraries and infrastructure components.Debug existing source codeAbility to work independently
