Game Developer Intern (Unity)

We are a dynamic and innovative startup in search of a passionate Game Developer Intern (Unity) to enrich our team. In this role, you will engage with exciting projects, gaining hands-on experience in the development of world-class production quality mobile games using Unity Game Engine. Basic understanding of Games and Game Development, Unity Engine and C# is a fundamental requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:Build and maintain high-quality and interactive small 2D and 3D mobile games with Unity Game Engine from scratch.Integrate backend services inside the games using best practices.Produce efficient, clean, and reusable code utilizing C# and Unity game engine.C# and Socket Programming (multiplayer games).Work in tandem with designers and product team to comprehend project requirements.Participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.Debug and rectify issues reported by testers or users, ensuring seamless and reliable application performance.Stay abreast of the latest Unity and Game Development trends, frameworks, and tools, applying them to enhance development processes and elevate application performance.Assist in comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and workflows for ease of understanding and future maintainability.Collaborate proactively with team members, contributing actively to team meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Basic understanding of Game Development and Unity Game Engine with best practices.Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts, Data Structure, Algorithms, 3D Maths and Geometry is a fundamental requirement of this job.Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus.Prior experience in Game development or personal projects is advantageous.Basic knowledge of Mobile app development will be an added advantage.
