Job Title: Java with Spark Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (3 days in the office at least. No remote option)

Candidates willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ from Day 1 is also accepted.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and robust Java applications.

Implement data processing solutions using Apache Spark for large-scale data analysis and processing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, specifications, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Optimize and troubleshoot Spark applications for performance and reliability.

Develop and implement data integration pipelines for various data sources.

Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand and address their data processing needs.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of core Java concepts.

Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.

Proficiency in working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Kafka, or similar.

Solid understanding of distributed computing principles and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
