US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal government security clearance are required for this position.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications. Serve as a technical expert on development projects. Participate in a full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design in an Agile Scrum environment.Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.Participate in the day-to-day development activities of a fast-paced development team using Agile ScrumContribute to project, release, and sprint planning activities as part of the project teamImplement technical solutions and confirm that they meet the agreed-upon "definition of done" by working closely with the Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Test EngineerAbility to analyze and understand existing application code and architecture
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of software development experienceExperience with Java, Python, Node.jsProficiency in SQL and relational database development and designExperience developing in an Agile Scrum methodologyExperience deploying applications in AWS environmentsExperience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo (or similar tools)Demonstrated ability to quickly implement project requirements, and troubleshoot bugs and other issuesAn ability to prioritize and organize assigned tasks in a fast-paced environmentIndependent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity, and customer service-oriented personalityWillingness to self-start and learn independentlyExcellent communication, both written and verbal
Education
A Bachelor of Science degree is required
