Expert VBA/C# Developer - MS Office Transformation Specialist Remote Position 6+Month Contract Overview: Client is seeking a highly skilled VBA/C# Developer with expertise in MS Office transformation, specifically transitioning from MS 2013 to 365 seamlessly. Independent expert-level work is essential, focusing on precision and compatibility. Expertise in XML blob storage, project management tools, and OCR tools is required.Responsibilities:Lead expert-level transition from MS 2013 to 365, ensuring compatibility and functionality.Independently perform meticulous testing and side-by-side comparisons.Conduct exhaustive testing of converted code, guaranteeing functionality parity.Analyze and optimize XML blob storage in databases, considering XML/JSON formats.Utilize JIRA for efficient collaboration in agile development.Programmatically transform and store Excel as PDFs, ensuring data integrity.Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues, optimizing code for MS 365.Key Qualifications:Extensive expertise in VBA, C#, Office Scripts, and Excel automation.Proven track record in transitioning VBA code modules from MS 2013 to 365.Intermediate experience in SQL Server for database work.Understanding of XML and JSON formats for efficient database storage.Familiarity with Atlassian Suite for collaboration and workflow management.Experience with OCR tools, such as Azure Document Intelligence Studio.Proficient in independent work with a focus on precision and accuracy.Strong problem-solving skills, optimizing code for MS 365.Prior experience in regulated industries, especially banking, is advantageous.Expertise in Office Scripts, complementing VBA and C# skills.Ability to collaborate with stakeholders for insights and recommendations.
