Application Developer

P&C Global® is a professional services firm notable for its work in corporate strategy, innovation, data sciences, digital reinvention, performance improvement, and implementation services. We have several opportunities for Software Developers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development, data transformation, as well as experience with enterprise software implementation and API integrations. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and a strong foundation in computer science or a related quantitative discipline.

Project Details: Our client is transitioning from a custom-developed Financial and Case Management application (Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and SQL Server) to a commercially available off-the-shelf software (COTS). Several modules of the legacy applications will need to be modernized and integrated to work alongside the new COTS software. You will work closely with data migration architects, business process and management consultants, and the client to integrate existing functionality into a modern UI, connecting to and extending the commercial software features. This is a 2-year project for an Independent Consultant. We are not accepting 3rd party candidate submissions.

Required Skills and Experience:5+ years ERP implementation experience, such as JDE or Oracle EBS, preferably from a legacy system.A service-minded approach with a focus on details, patience, flexibility, and high emotional intelligence.Ability to perform business analysis and requirements gathering with end users when needed.10+ years of professional experience with the following technologies:.NET (Specifically VB.Net used in Elite’s IDE)Microsoft SQL ServerAPI developmentUI development in the Microsoft technology stackSQL Language (ideally OQL)Microsoft Visual StudioDatabase stored procedures and triggers.Visual BasicExperience in both legacy and modern technology stacks and the ability to fluently communicate and design solutions.Experience as a client-facing consultant.Solid understanding of agile methodologies and application of enterprise architecture principles to the development lifecycle.Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology.

Location: Remote with up to 15% travel.
