Lead Full-Stack Web3 Developer

Who are we?We are a small diverse global team that’s revolutionizing the future of work. We were founded in early 2023 and have since built our closed beta, secured investment, and are now looking to build out a development team that will help us realize our ambition.

Our founder has extensive experience in the crypto/web3 space, having worked for a major Japanese cryptocurrency exchange and provided consultation to various dApps and corporations entering the crypto/web3 market.

Our Product: A job marketplace that leverages the power of blockchain and AI to connect people with opportunities, provide thoughtful workflows to manage relationships, and enable users to build reputation based on verified work on the blockchain.

The Role:As the seed member of Joba Networks engineering team, you will have the opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of your skills, take on multiple responsibilities, and have input into our product and business. Because of our early stage, you will also have the ability to receive token incentives.

Key Responsibilities:Building out new platform features from our Product RoadmapMaintaining and supporting the Joba platformManaging CI/CD pipeline and production releasesMaintaining and growing suite of automated testing capabilities Optimizing platform for both performance and scalabilityCollaborate closely with the team to architect and implement all features and fixes Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advancements in the field, leveraging them to continuously enhance our platformProvide technical expertise and guidance to the management team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Prior experience in a role as a lead or senior rank developerPrior work on Web3 projects, ideally remote and globally distributedExperience or deep interest in learning AI coding toolsExperience architecting systems/solutions to meet different business objectivesProficient in front-end development, including but not limited to Typescript Proficient in backend development, including but not limited to Node.jsDemonstrable Blockchain/Smart contract development experienceProficient in relational databases including schema design Experience managing and maintaining a CI/CD pipelineExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment and solve challenges independently.Ability to pivot quickly in an agile production setting.Knowledge of current trends in the web3 worldAbility to change gears on short notice and adapt to fast changing environments
