Adobe Analytics Developer

As a Web Analytics Developer, you will be supporting the client's business on the web by designing and refining measurement applications to analyze the performance of the client's web properties. These personalized sites play a critical role in engaging our customers as they learn about, try, and purchase client's software.

Minimum QualificationsStrong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and data warehousingDevelopment experience with Adobe Analytics (must have), Google Analytics (nice to have) and custom data collection systemsDevelopment experience with Tealium or other Tag Management SystemKnowledge of web analytics data and data structuresSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to influence and drive technical adoption of analytics productsStrong communication skills with engineers and marketing

ResponsibilitiesYou will focus on developing a deep understanding of business KPIs through current and future business requirements and help define and implement the analytics data capture.You will expand our existing Web Analytics instrumentation and drive its development and implementation with CMS engineering teams and development partners.With your Adobe Analytics implementation experience, you will explore how to expand the technical architecture to include new, business-related data capture.Design, develop and support the web analytics instrumentation architectureDevelop, test, and validate new analytics data, capture designs, with consideration for stakeholder reporting needs and long-term business goalsLead the implementation of technical instrumentation through execution teams using agile and traditional project management methodologiesAssist with the triage analytics-related issues (both in formal development and on an ad hoc basis), and share that knowledge with other partners & stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to expand web analytics collection, especially as they relate to key performance indicators in customer lifecyclesConsistently evaluate and – where necessary – refactor the analytics architecture to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and future-proofingBuild collaborative relationships with engineering and technical teams across the company, sharing best practices and identifying new integration opportunitiesIncrease the velocity of Web Analytics implementations by working with engineering teamsPrioritize and respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from technical stakeholders on occasion
