In this work from home position, you will have the opportunity to build out new functionalities for an application that is used daily by tens of thousands of users across the globe.
What you’ll be doing:In this contract role, you will work closely with the other React Native Developers in the team to upgrade the University’s tech stack and build out new functionalities. You will work with React Native on the my UNI app which is used by over 36,000 students and 4,000 staff.
The application that you will be working on is a centralised platform for staff and students to access multiple applications, services, and information about the university. You will collaborate with the design team to implement user-friendly interfaces, whilst also working with the backend team to integrate APIs to develop robust data management solutions.
Experience required:First and foremost, you will need to be based in Australia and have full working rights. You will have at least 3 years of experience in a React Native development role and have a proven track record of delivering successful React Native projects from conception to deployment.
You will ideally have a solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies and a deep knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices, with a keen eye for detail. Please note this experience is a nice to have and if you don’t have experience in this, we would still love to hear from you.
