Application Developer (VB.NET + .NET) 12 month contract REMOTE

A multinational firm in manufacturing of retail equipment is looking for an Applications Developer The application developer will work on Web services & Rest APIs and work on e-commerce projects for customers to buy products (BtoB) – an online catalogue – and other application development features and analyst / support requests

YOUWill have more than 7 years’ experience around .NET but you need VB.NET and IIS as well as C#. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English to communicate across the global organisationIISVisual StudioVB.NetASP.Net Web Applications. Net Web Services (.asmx SOAP)Integration with external Rest APIs, iSeries (RestSharp)Deployments to IISXML, JSONSOAP UISQL (Microsoft SQL Server 2008,2012,2016)Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

This is a 12 month daily rate contract so you will have your own limited company set up to contract through and be available to start in short notice
