At 542 Digital, we are seeking an innovative, experienced, and passionate developer with a particular focus on Drupal frontend development.
We produce complex applications that harvest and publish financial data in the form of dashboards and interactives. We create marketing websites for high traffic/value campaigns and customers. We also consume valuable user behavioral data from our applications to enhance and inform their future direction of development.
The role also involves close development collaboration with other specialized teams, both frontend (js/react/typescript) and backend (php/cloud), UX, content management and data/visitor analytics.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex Drupal-based content solutions, including configuration management, administration and troubleshootingUtilize Webpack and Storybook to manage and bundle assets.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability and accessibility.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, and project managers.Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from specifications to deployment.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in web development with a specific focus on Drupal frontend processes.Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Must haves:
Knowledge of the Drupal PHP stack, the Drupal ecosystem, its limitations and possibilitiesSolid understanding and hands-on experience with Webpack and Storybook.Expert in Typescript/Javascript, HTML, and CSS.Demonstrable experience with Docker, CI/CD and modern development toolsExcellent problem-solving skills, a love for technical challenges, and a willingness to learn.Demonstrated ability to write clear, maintainable, and scalable code.Strong communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.Keen attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
