Job Description:We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins to meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.Customize existing themes and plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure seamless integration of visual and functional elements.Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.Conduct website testing and troubleshooting to ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, APIs, and hooks.Experience with custom theme development, including child themes and template hierarchy.Knowledge of popular WordPress plugins and frameworks.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.Preferred Skills:Experience with version control systems such as Git.Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization techniques.Familiarity with web accessibility standards and compliance.Experience with website performance optimization tools and techniques.Understanding of server-side configurations and hosting environments.
