Salesforce Developer

SUMMARY:Tucker-Rose Associates is seeking a SalesForce Developer to help support a Federal Program within the US Department of Veterans Affairs. We are partnered with Booz Allen on this position and will allow remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support to the client with Salesforce.com (SFDC) development and integration in a large enterprise organization.Develop rapid prototypes, present demos of capabilities and functions of the SFDC platform, and implement solutions based on client requirements.Develop, modify, and maintain applications that may be customized or standardized.Participate in design and coding activities with other staff membersDesign, build, and maintain reusable, and reliable C++ code using good OOP/OOAD techniquesDevelop data models, stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL and Design/Develop Oracle FormsDevelop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development life-cycleOptimize, identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsAssist in maintaining code quality, revision control and organizationDevelop enhancements to existing API capabilities as defined by project leadershipRegression/Performance testing of all interface and API’sParticipate in daily stand-up meetings and other Agile ceremonies

REQUIREMENTS (Must Have):Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or technical discipline is required.8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education5+ years of experience with developing on SFDC or Force.com platform5+ years of experience with supporting relational databases, including Oracle or SQL Server5+ years of experience in developing with LWC, Apex, Java, C#, and JavaScript languages5+ years of experience with implementing call center and case management solutions on the SFDC platform3+ years of experience with version control tools like GitHub or BitbucketExperience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform which includes - Lightning components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder).Experience with the Agile development processSalesForce AdministratorSalesForce Platform Developer I and II CertificationExperience with virtual team managementExperience working with the VA or Federal clients
