The Bravo LT Backend Developer possesses a deep understanding of the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of cloud environments, from the backend to the frontend. A strong foundation in computer science, the AWS ecosystem, and modern technologies are required. WIth these capabilities you will be able to join a great team of front end developers, back end developers, QA’s and others to build a modern account management system for one of the largest direct selling companies in the world.

ResponsibilitiesDesigning, coding, testing, and deploying customer-facing cloud servicesTranslate user stories into functional applicationsAdvise on technology stacks, such as AWS Cloud, Lambda, TypeScript, and RESTDesign, build, test, and maintain reusable and reliable cloud applications with Nodejs Ability to use, develop and orchestrate information from PostgreSQL databases Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationsIdentify and devise solutions to problems with functionality or performance of the applicationsHelp build a new pricing solution whole keeping a legacy system runningHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automationBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related fieldOver 5-years of experience developing in a backend focused roleSolid understanding of software design and related patternsOver 5-years of experience maintaining a system built with AWS services including serverless architecture such as AWS Lambda and API GatewayExtensive experience in, Node.js and PostgreSQL Proficiency in headless application design and microservice architecture on AWS including Cloudfront, API Gateway, Lambda, Kinesis, Kafka, Elastic Search and PostgreSQL Experience with CI/CD pipelines on Cloud-Based architectureExperience in Test Drive Development (TDD)Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and colleagues at a high degree of professionalismAble to manage time effectively
