Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for delivering new features while ensuring the quality and security of our app. You will work closely with our product and design teams to prototype new experiences and contribute to expanding the reach of our app. If you have a strong background in Android development, a deep understanding of the Android SDK, and a passion for creating innovative mobile experiences, we would love to hear from you.Job ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will be delivering new features while keeping the quality and security of the app in mind, reacting to customer feedback & internal user testing, working closely with our product and design team to prototype new experiences, and helping expand our app’s reach however possible. What you’ll do:Implement new features and bug fixes for our Android app.Follow and promote security best practicesImplement & iterate with our design and product teams in an agile environment to bring features from conception to launch.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.Contribute to our existing continuous integration framework by automating features as we go.Basic QualificationsBachelors and/or Masters in computer science OR related field of study5+ years experience in software development or a related fieldStrong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to a non-technical audienceAndroid and Kotlin experience, including a deep understanding of the Android SDKIntimate knowledge of common design patterns, algorithms, and object-oriented programmingExperience leading the development through the full Android development lifecycleSkills & Behaviors:Creative and innovative, able to think out of the boxTrack record as a results oriented person with a delivery focusSelf-starterStrong work ethicAble to work with engineers, managers, Product Management, QA, Load & Performance, and Operations teamsFlexible and open-minded
