AWS Developer

Northwest Partners is seeking an experienced Webservices Developer with a strong background in webservices technologies including Cloud and Restful APIs development. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in building and optimizing complex web applications while also demonstrating experience in systems architecture and design.

What YOU will do as a successful Software EngineerAs a webservices developer you will work with a premium consulting team and will play a crucial role in leading their technical direction, driving innovation, and mentoring team members to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Develop webservices and applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.Drive technical decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.Provide hands-on expertise in code reviews, architecture discussions, and debugging complex technical issues.

What we expect from YOUBachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of software development experienceExperience with:MYSQL databases/toolsSystem performance monitoring, analysis and management, garbage collector managementJEE - JAVA, JSP, JSTL, JDBC, JMS, JPAFrameworks - Spring, Struts 1 or 2Web Design - javascript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, Jquery, Internationalization, Responsive DesignUnit Testing – PowerMock, MockitoSOAP, REST (Json), XML, Web services, MicroservicesExperience with using command line and SSH on Unix ServersPCI compliance, credit card processing including designing for gateway interactionTomcat Application ServerExperience with AWS - VPC, EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda (Serverless) Experience with Continuous Integration – Jenkins, Nexus, Git, Sonarqube, SeleniumSource control – Git, Bitbucket, Gitflow Branching Model IDE – EclipseBuild Tools – Maven 2, 3IAM – LDAP, OktaExperience with Agile, Scrum as part of a team Change Release Management – CherwellFull stack application experience Python
