Role Description

We are seeking a full-time remote C++ Developer to join our team. The C++ Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining ProxySQL, our high-performance, highly available MySQL proxy tool. Additionally, they will work closely with the software engineering team to design and develop new features to improve ProxySQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldStrong experience with C++ and Object Oriented ProgrammingExpertise in MySQL and understanding of MySQL internalsExperience working with software development on Linux/Unix platformsExperience in multi-threaded programmingExpertise in concurrency patterns and locking mechanisms in C++Strong ability to solve complex problems and implement efficient solutionsStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in developmentGood verbal and written communication skills, as well as collaborative working skills
