About the Opportunity:FedTec is looking for a Software Developer at USTRANSCOM in Belleville, IL to play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing complex software applications. We are seeking a candidate who is proficient with both Java or Python and has a strong background in using Cloud and SQL.

Position: Software DeveloperLocation: Belleville, IL

This position allows remote work.

Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java or Python.Create detailed requirements documents for new software solutions.Ensure the security of applications through robust design and testing.Conduct reverse engineering of existing applications to improve functionality and efficiency.Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet project goals and deliverables.Stay abreast of the latest developments in software development and security best practices.Experience with RMF and application STIGS requirements

Qualifications:Experience coding in Java and/or Python.Experience using agile methodology (scrum and/or kanban).Experience creating, running, and editing SQL scripts.Demonstrated experience in creating secure applications and reverse engineering.Strong ability to create and interpret requirements documents.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is a Must.Certifications: IAWIP IAT Level 2 (Security+)
