Role Description

This is a full-time remote internship opportunity for a Backend Developer. The Backend Developer Intern will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side web application logic, database design, and integrations for MHTECHIN's existing and emerging products and services. They will work closely with other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and scalability of all applications.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby or PHPExperience in web framework development such as Django, Flask, or Ruby on RailsExperience in database design and querying, with a focus on MySQL or PostgreSQLFamiliarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptKnowledge of REST APIs and microservices developmentExperience with version control systems such as Git, Github or BitbucketExperience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Trello or AsanaAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectivelyCurrent enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program, or a recent graduate of such a programAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
