Back End Developer

Start Date: January, 2024 Location: Remote/Worldwide Salary: Up to $2500 Job Type: Freelance/Contract Hours: Up to 40hrs/week**

We are seeking a skilled and proficient Backend Developer to join our team for upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining server-side logic and databases for our applications. Using languages such as Node.js, or Nest.js, the candidate should be able to translate business requirements into robust and scalable backend solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain server-side applications and databases- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic- Develop and implement efficient APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems- Ensure the security and performance of backend applications- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field- 2+ years of experience in backend development (Node.js)- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile development methodologies- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)- Solid understanding of server-side templating languages

Knowledge of AWS is preferable but not mandatory.
