Senior SQL Developer

For our client, a Telco Company we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SQL Developer with very strong proficiency in SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and analytics, SQL query optimizations, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the ability to turn complex data into understandable and actionable information.As a Senior SQL Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that empower decision-makers across the organization and bring your relevant experience to help the data team enhance, build & optimize data assets.Key Responsibilities:· Design and implement advanced SQL-based queries for complex data retrieval, analysis and reporting.· Develop high-performance SQL scripts for data manipulation and aggregation in large-scale databases.· Create and manage database indexing and partitioning strategies to optimize query performance.· Lead the design and execution of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL and other data integration tools.· Implement advanced database features like stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions for automation and efficiency.· Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using advanced SQL techniques and tools.· Manage data integrity and security, including the development of policies for SQL server audit, backup, and recovery.· Collaborate with data science teams to facilitate data modeling and warehousing using SQL.· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SQL developers.· Perform data quality assessments, validation, and cleansing to ensure the integrity of data used in reporting and analytics.· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges.

QualificationsTechnical:· Proven experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on SQL development.· Excellent proficiency in SQL programming, SQL query optimizations and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.· Very good understanding of data models and associated best practices.· Experience with Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI, Excel.· Excellent Microsoft SQL Server Reporting, Analysis, and Integration Services experience· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a plus.· Experience in data profiling and quality assurance for the verification and accuracy of data· Demonstrable experience implementing and maintaining large amounts of dataRequired Personal Skills· Ability to organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes· Precise, results driven, problem solver, pragmatic and realistic with solutions· Flexible and resilient, can handle various demands planned and unplanned· Able to communicate effectively at all levels in a collaborative style· Self-starter, fast learner and able to work with minimal supervision· Effective team player· Strong analytical skillsExcellent working level of English (both written and verbal) is a must.
