Your Role Involves:Lead a team of front-end developers distributed across multiple countries and potentially several domains;Ensure excellence in front-end development, particularly with technologies such as NextJS, React, Redux, and TypeScript;Manage the development and delivery of front-end projects, aligning with both domain-specific and overarching company objectives;Uphold and advocate for agile development methodologies to optimize project workflow and collaboration;Maintain and enhance code quality, leveraging tools like ESLint and StyleLint to ensure compliance with coding best practices;Oversee code reviews and guide team members in following established coding standards and practices;Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between front-end developers and other technical teams, including back-end, SRE, and QA teams;Ensure seamless integration of front-end components with other parts of the e-Commerce;Lead the team in adopting new front-end technologies and methodologies that enhance user experience and product quality;Manage resource allocation within the team, ensuring balanced workloads and effective task distribution. What You'll Do Daily:Conduct regular training sessions and workshops on advanced front-end development technologies and best practices;Improve team productivity and technical expertise by 25% through dedicated mentoring and skill development initiatives;Ensure a 98% adherence rate to coding standards and best practices across all frontend projects;Initiate and lead at least 2 projects annually focused on code optimization and technical debt reduction;Host monthly cross-regional team meetings to share knowledge, align strategies, and foster collaborative problem-solving;Collaborate effectively with backend and other teams for integrated and cohesive application development;Ensure equitable distribution of workload, aiming for optimal capacity utilization across the team;Strategically plan team expansions and recruitments to support growing project needs and domain expansion. We Expect:Minimum 8 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing distributed teams;Expertise in front-end technologies like NextJS, React, Redux, TypeScript, and familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library;Strong knowledge of modern front-end development practices and web performance Optimization;Proven track record in leading agile teams and delivering high-quality front-end projects;Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills;Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
