Product DescriptionOur new progressive web app will be focused on individuals and families with environment responsibility in mind. We believe that the world depends on everyone’s actions and our aim is to reach green-minded people and assist them in their journey to reduce human carbon footprint and simplify the tracking of related activities to reduce emissions, optimize power consumption and at the same time aid in the reduction of bills related to energy, utility and fuel expenses.

Role DescriptionWe are opening a full-time remote Senior Frontend Developer role at The Bytesmiths. The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for the development of our progressive web application and lead a small team of Front-End Developers implementing theevolving roadmap of the application. The position is fully remote; however, at least 2 face-to-face meetings each month are planned for the whole team to join, review, and discuss objective and progress in person. Therefore, the preferred location for the candidate is Sofia, Bulgaria still other cities in Bulgaria will be considered.

Qualifications• Proven expertise and at least 5+ years of experience in Angular or React• Experience with Flutter or React Native is a plus• Experience with DevOps is required• Full-stack development expertise with Java or Spring framework and NoSQL databases is a huge advantage• Experience in writing clean, maintainable code• Strong understanding of web development standards and technologies• Experience in leading a small team of 3-5 developers is recommended• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams
