Quantitative Developer

The Client is one of the top 4 big firms in the USA.

Role: Full Stack Analytics EngineerDuration: 6+ months contractLocation: 100% Remote (Work from home)

The primary responsibility for this role is to be a part of a team that is defining and developing solutions for investment professionals and senior management executives leading strategic quantitative research initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIESFull Stack software design and developmentCreate data solutions using various programming languages and tools.Develop big data systems for data sourcing and processing.Develop machine learning systems to support data analysis, visualization, and model development.Collaborate with quantitative researchers, portfolio analysts, and other technical leaders, and mentor junior staff.

REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience designing and building complex end-to-end systems (full stack development) from concept to the finished product.Experience with object-oriented design and development, and standard software design patterns.Experience working with a variety of programming languages (Python, SQL, Angular) operating systems (Microsoft, Linux), databases (Snowflake), and platforms (AWS) Experience with numerical analysis software such as MATLAB and RExperience with version control tool GIT (Stash), project management tool JIRA, and continuous integration and deployment tools Jenkins and ArtifactoryPrevious financial services and investment industry experience is strongly preferred.
