Android Developer

Coople is looking for an Android Developer to join our ambitious, growing team in Poland. Founded in 2009, we are the first on-demand staffing marketplace, with a big mission to disrupt the traditional staffing industry and make flexible work more attractive. Our team is based in Zurich, London and Warsaw, supporting more than 10,000 clients including Deliveroo, ZfV, Inditex, Intercontinental Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and the Royal Automobile Club. We have over 600,000 registered workers (‘Cooplers’) who have used Coople to find work at events like the Silverstone Formula 1 Grand Prix, the BBC Proms, Coldplay concerts, NFL matches at Wembley stadium and many more high-profile events.

Responsibilities:- You will create an app with cutting-edge technology, design, and usability- Actively seeing and solving customer problems is what you do daily- You help quality and analytics contribute to the creation of amazing software

Requirements:- 3-4 years of experience making great native Android apps for consumers where usability and design matter- Experience working in distributed teams- You are eager to deliver great UX and usability- Snappy in making an efficient app – small, fast yet powerful- REST, Kotlin, Git, Miro, Slack, and Jira are familiar to you- You don’t need external motivation to get things done- Can-do attitude- Strong focus on quality and Clean Code principles;- Strong English both spoken and written- Good communications skills- Learning and trying something new you do almost daily- AWS experience is a plus

Tools and technologies:- Kotlin- Gradle, Git, Jira, Bitbucket- Google analytics, Firebase- Dagger, RxJava3, Retrofit, Room persistence library- GraphQL as BFF layer for mobile- Material design components- Facebook, Google API- JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric
