Power BI Developer

Specialist in Power BI? Our client maintains a Prysm platform which requires new development and maintenance. Report Server hosted on an AWS Cloud environment for the development of PowerBI models and integration with SSAS tabular models and SSIS.

Responsibilities: Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutionsAnalysis, design, and development of SQL Stored procedures, reporting tables, tabular models, dashboard visualisations and reports in PowerBIDeliver dashboards and reports using PowerBI including atomic/dimensionDesign, build and deploy BI solutionsTranslate business needs to technical specificationsConduct unit testing and troubleshootingEvaluate and improve existing BI systemsCollaborate with teams to integrate systemsDevelop and execute database queries and conduct analysesCreate visualizations and reports for requested projectsDevelop and update technical documentation

Required:

Active SC ClearanceExperience working with SQL Server and SSAS using tabular modelUnderstanding and development experience of T-SQL, stored procedure, views etcDemonstrable experience in the use of PowerBI development toolsDemonstrable experience in the use of ETL and associated toolsIn-depth knowledge of modelling in Power BIExperienced across a range of relational and database technologies, particularly SQL Server.Familiar with coding (C#, PowerShell, .Net scripting)Amazon Infrastructure, Storage, Compute, VPCPower BI Server for User Dashboard and Reporting

Desirable:
