Role DescriptionThe Senior DevOps Engineer will focus on production and developer support on AWS for simplyblock’s storage software.

What's required?

Required and proven experience in github build/actions, python, eks, aws(ec2, vpc, iam, cloud formation, ...), prometheus, grafanaPreferred experience in k3s, gke, aks, aws, azure, bash, greylog, cmake

Tasks will includeProduction and developer support for AWS eks and k3s (setup, configuration, security) Defining and maintaining aws policies (security, cost, ...) and providing aws support for 7 developerssimplyblock cluster deployment and e2e test automation framework (maintainance and enhancements)Integration and automation of cluster monitoring and event management with prometheus, grafana, greylogsupport developers with aws questions (instance setup, etc.)implement security in awsmanage dev costs in awsintegrate and test log management and monitoring (if we had another python guy he could do that)provide some support on k8s side for cluster migration to k8s
