Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Tandem Developer. The Tandem Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software and database applications on the NonStop environment. The Tandem Developer will also be responsible for performing code reviews and ensuring quality control for deliverables.

Qualifications

Tandem programming experience with strong knowledge of TACL, SCOBOL, and COBOLExperience in designing, developing, and maintaining software and database applications on the NonStop environmentExperience with Pathway, Enscribe, and SQL/MXKnowledge of C, C++, Java, and PerlExperience in protecting the integrity and confidentiality of dataStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with system tools including Tandem utilities and compilersBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
