HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Lead and champion Agile methodologies, specifically within the SAFe framework, to ensure efficient and effective software development processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and adaptability in a fast-paced development environment.Possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies such as Angular, C#, and API development.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices to guide the team in making informed decisions.Manage and mentor a team of skilled developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.Establish and enforce development best practices, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.Oversee and guide multiple Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines and delivery of high-quality software solutions.Implement mechanisms to hold team members accountable for their deliverables and overall project success.Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing development projects within the government sector.Understand and navigate the complexities of government regulations, security protocols, and compliance requirements.Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including government agencies, to understand project requirements and expectations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, quality assurance, and DevOps, to ensure seamless project execution.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education and Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with eight (8) years or more experience - OR - Master's degree with five (5) years or more experience.
Required Technical Skills:Proven experience in managing software development teams, particularly in Agile and SAFe environments.Strong technical background with expertise in Angular, C#, and API development and integrationFamiliarity with government projects, regulations, and security protocols
