Crypto Engineer/ Developer, Remote, £500pd

Crypto Engineer/ Developer is required by an international and well-established organisation in the technology development space. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion and ability to develop or see their ideas come to life. This project is likley to last 6months however maybe extended and will be fully remote Monday to Friday and will pay up to £500 per day.

This contract role will fall inside IR35, and the successful Crypto Engineer/ Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure and scalable blockchain solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the blockchain systems' architecture, ensuring digital asset security, and contributing to the advancement of technologies. Blockchain Development:Design and implement blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic solutions.Develop and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions into existing systems.Security and Auditing:Conduct regular security assessments and audits of blockchain systems and smart contracts.Implement security protocols and best practices to ensure the integrity of digital assets.Address vulnerabilities and collaborate with development teams on remediation efforts.Wallet Development:Design and develop cryptocurrency wallets for multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, web).Implement secure key management and encryption mechanisms.Integrate wallet solutions with blockchain networks and external services.Tokenomics and Smart Contracts:Design and implement tokenomics, including token creation, distribution, and governance.Develop and deploy smart contracts to facilitate token-related functionalities.Research and Development:Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the blockchain space.Contribute to the research and development of new blockchain protocols and technologies.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience:Proven experience as a crypto engineer or blockchain developer with portfolio of completed projects.Solid understanding of blockchain protocols, cryptography, and consensus algorithms.Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Python, or Go.Experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or others.Strong knowledge of smart contract development and decentralized application (dApp) architecture.Security Expertise:In-depth understanding of cybersecurity, cryptography, and secure coding practices.Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.Communication Skills:Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Adaptability:Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
