Position Overview:As a Contract Quant Developer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of a ground-breaking project for our esteemed client in New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of financial technology while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions for our client's project.Work closely with Front Office teams to seamlessly integrate quantitative library updates and software improvements into the codebaseDesign quantitative models and establish API interfaces to ensure smooth communication and integration with various systems.Utilize your expertise in Python programming, with a focus on Spark, to create efficient and scalable code.Leverage Big Data tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, and other ETL tools to handle large datasets effectively.Apply your strong analytical programming skills to address market risk and trading challenges.
Requirements:Over three years of professional experience in software design and development.Demonstrated expertise in Python programming, including proficiency in Spark.Extensive knowledge of SA-CCR with practical experience in its implementationKnowledge of Big Data tools like Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase, and other ETL tools.Strong background in analytical programming, specifically in market risk and trading.A proven capacity to work autonomously and efficiently manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
