Here at adesso, we combine ServiceNow projects with industry know-how in areas such as automotive, manufacturing, banking, retail and life science. Beyond ITSM, we map "real" customer processes in ServiceNow.

As a (Senior) ServiceNow Developer, you are responsible for the (further) development of ServiceNow applications and modules regarding the requirements and challenges of our customers with the ServiceNow-platform solution. Based on this, you will implement innovative, sustainable ServiceNow projects in accordance to best practices, innovative ServiceNow developments in cooperation with our international business and technical consultants from various industries for many adesso customers.

In detail, you will take on the following tasks:Independent, technically demanding (further) development of ServiceNow-solutionsConfiguration and customization of ServiceNow applicationsDevelopment of components for the integration of peripheral systems (SSO, LDAP, REST API, SOAP, etc.)Develop, configure, customize of technical solutions and designs in cooperation with our business consultants focusing on ServiceNow modules:"Customer Service Management", "Field Service Management", "Security Operations", "Integrated Risk Management / Governance, Risk and Compliance", “Financial Services Operations” and/or "IT Service Management", plus custom appsCreate and configure Workflow, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Client/Server ScriptsConfiguration of NOW-Service PortalCreate reports, dashboards, and analytics widgetsPrepare and maintain technical documentationActive support in setting up and developing the Competence Center ServiceNow@adessoResponsible sponsorship and active knowledge transfer for ServiceNow developers

What we are looking for?

Several years of experience in the development environment with a focus on ServiceNow,Very good knowledge of the solution and interface concepts as well as industry standards such as Ajax, , REST API, , Web Services, SOAP and XMLVery good or excellent programming/scripting skills, ideally Certified in ServiceNow as "NOW-Certified System Administrator" (CSA) and as "NOW-Certified Application Developer" (CAD)Very good English language skill is a must, and German skill is a plus.You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or comparable training.
