Senior Frontend Developer

DealPlus is building software for Private Market Funds (private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and Sovereign Wealth Funds) which will transform the way private market deals are executed and managed. Our ambition is to build the default standard to execute and manage private market deals.We are a remote team located across the UK and India.

We believe the product has PMF and iterating the product at a rapid pace will be the primary driver for our growthWhat will be your role?You will work on building frontend features towards meeting our product roadmap in collaboration with backend engineers, design, and product teamBe a primary owner of frontend architecture and code qualitySetup processes as required to improve the efficiency of other frontend devsMentor junior devsEnsuring security (as we work with sensitive financial data transactions of millions of dollars) of the platformContribute towards improving our frontend development process. for eg, improving code reviews, deployment process, and build performanceEnsure that we maintain a culture of collaboration, a growth mindset, and high-performanceWhat will make you succeed in this role?We are looking for a talented engineer with the following :Effective communication:The ability to communicate well verbally, and non-verbally with the team.5+ years experience in frontend development:Experience in Typescript. strong grasp of JavaScript/CSS/HTMLExperience with ReactJS or other SPA frameworksHave a “design sense”. ability to give meaningful feedback to our designersAbility to architect/design frontend componentsHave a high degree of ownershipGrowth mindsetA mindset to learn and improve constantly and take feedback criticallyFocusing on delivering the best possible product to our users aka customer obsessionEmpathy: We are all trying to work towards a shared goal and it's normal for us to make mistakes. having strong empathy towards each other is important to fostering a healthy workplacePlease feel free to apply if you think you can contribute to us irrespective of your experience. we value your potential to make an impact and fit with the team more than experience
