Client is seeking a Java Developer for a healthcare client. This is a contract opportunity

JOB DESCRIPTION Focused on delivering quality technical solutions to enhance and maintain provider capabilities. We work as partners with our internal/external stakeholders on their strategic business initiatives. This position will support Portico/P-ODS applications and many inbound/outbound data feeds using JAVA, Python/Jython, Oracle, SQL, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (11+ Years)Provider/Healthcare Experience JavaSQLDemonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions.Understand the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.Expertise in multiple technical environments and possesses business knowledge that spans one or more business areas.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently, or within a team environment.Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.Align with business and IT strategies and comply with the organizational standardsProvide support in full systems life cycle for multiple applications to ensure software is delivered on time and within budgetCode/Develop distributed applications using a disciplined development process, following Agile and Hybrid methodologiesAssist in design, development, testing, deployment execution and documentation of softwareProvide ongoing operational support of applications and interfacesAnalyze and troubleshoot existing systems to identify errors or deficiencies and develop solutions

PREFERRED Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.Experience in systems design and have a strong understanding of software development, testing, and integration methodologies preferredKnowledge in the Provider Data Domain and Portico/P-ODS preferredPhython/JythonOracle
