We are looking for an Senior Software Engineer Backend to join the Data Governance Team to work on products around Data Catalog:

It is the next-generation cloud data governance applications being developed.They bring intelligent and collaborative capabilities to datasets inventory and transformation for our customers and are the corner stone of the customer’s strategy.

They are built using Java, JavaScript and React and packaged/deployed using Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI / CD technology.

Requirements:

The new team member should have :

5+ years’ experience in development

Strong knowledge in highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments

Strong knowledge in Java and Spring Boot

Knowledge of the Cloud providers environments (Amazon Web Services / Microsoft Azure);

Good knowledge of GitHub actions /Jenkins / Kubernetes / Helm

Strong interpersonal and excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Team player mindset and experience or appetency in working within a distributed & international agile team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

How you will make an impact :

Build and develop applications in the Data Governance Team;

Cross-team communication, collaboration with architecture and engineering teams to deliver activities in line with the overall product architecture and vision;

Support the product owner in planning activities (scoping/solution design workshops, refinements , estimations…);

Knowledge sharing & mentoring of junior members;

Contribute to the team’s self-management and continuous improvement;
